Patrick Mahomes, QB of the Kansas City Chiefs and Texas native, invested in the Kansas City Royals, team of the Major League Baseball. Mahomes purchased a 1% stake of the Kansas team in order to “deepen his roots in that community”. Last July, he also bought ownership stake of the Sporting Kansas City soccer club.

It seems that Patrick Mahomes and his family intend to set roots in Kansas City and give some love back to the community where his career started.
